OG FL is actually a kind hearted lady, both in novel version and real one, but since few months before FL searched her up she is changed, more like "soul change". OGFL now is possessed by the author of this "supposed" novel, I forgot how she can entering but that will be showed later with the help of daddy mage and brothers, in short, this author is kind of evil and wished to FL to follow the exact plot of the novel, if you see it, it's shown that at certain part that OGFL is confused for how the plot is changed bit by bit, and at that point even her identity also shown. later author will forced out of the OGFL body and the real one who was "locked" will take her body again, this time, OGFL will return to her usual old personality, the kind one, she even will try to befriend FL later

I’m not sure why but that OGauthor sounds so selfish. I get it because FL is supposed to be a villain but as a writer myself, but I think the OGauthor of this supposed novel is thinking so irrationally and becoming the actual protagonist. For a writer who explores human emotions and world building, you sure sounds so selfish gurl (not you OP, its the OGauthor)
But anyway, I hope that author just get out of that world. She wrote it but her characters has their own lives and for her to treat them as objects sounds so inhumane. I read some plots who also involved the OGauthors too and they weren’t this selfish, instead they expressed disbelief and acceptance that their characters are real and they wanna help change their fate if its making them suffering and even expressed guilt

for another spoiler, about the OGFL (or OGAuthor (I'm gonna used this term as what you did is far better version XD)) this author is not the real author, it has plot twist, once again, this is a spoiler ╮(￣▽￣)╭
so, OGAuthor is the creator of the book aka novel that Philomel read all this time, but the twist part is, that novel is the rip off of the original novel, so this OGAuthor is nothing more than just a fan, in our term, that book FL read is the fanfiction version of the original one. She hates how the original version has happy ending for all, while in her fantasies our FL should be rot and the only one who should be shined is the OGFL. She made this fanfiction in hopes the real author will changed it somehow, she hates FL so much in original since FL still has her places in palace even though she didn't have a direct blood with the empire, at this point, thus that's where her twisted mind poured in the fanfiction, the one that our FL read
so back then I kind of saw the chats from several reader of how they actully felt sympathetic towards the emperor, while the emperor is being remorseful for the death of his wife, he actually heard that his kid also a naught one, this is due to her nanny bad talking FL, back then it was under the influence of alcohol that he said those words, I too felt that he might be bad at the time, but to killing FL is a bit extreme, that's until I saw the spoiler in the forum, funny thing is people divided into two section, for the emperor actually felt remorseful or just harlf heartedly apologize to FL, I do thinking that he is apologizing sincerely, again, this emperor is lack in many thing, he also has his rough since little so he showed his love in a weird way, but since FL knew her fate based on the novel, she can't took his words too, I felt a bit sorry for him too, if only his vassals can support him, from what I see he's also broken, just like FL, and found his peace with FL, sadly FL also being a good girl just to avoid her misfortune ╥﹏╥

Oh I guess I was right (or that other person) that OGAuthor is either s fanfic writer or a plagiarist so this made it worse because gurl really just stole someone’s work. No wonder we’ll hate them because what they did is more than just a crime lmao.
I used OGAuthor because I thought they’re the actual author who wrote the story but I guess not so we can call them a Plagiarizer or Plagiarist (not fanfic writer I guess since not all fanfic writers are evil ) and OGAuthor is the real actual author (I hope they at least like take notice of this because I would be furious actually if someone decide to make my work so worse, I mean why would anyone want our FL suffer wtf )
It’s okay for your essay! I lt’s interesting I got to know some korean comments because I’m always curious of their takes. I do also feel kinda bad for the emperor, I think us reading lots of stories made us really think that “all stories have two sides” Emperor did was really bad and he’s not a good father but we should also take into consideration that some people do change and wanted to change.
Not going to lie, if twitter exists in that world, the emperor gonna get cancel cultured lol
And we also gotta respect FL’s decision. The world FL is in now is a ripped off work but I think the relationship between emperor and FL remains canon in both fake and original? FL was really affected a lot and her childhood remains torn because of the emperor and he can’t change that. FL’s feelings are valid so her not easily forgiving him is both sad and valid.
I may not like the plot twist because it felt so Karen to me haha but I do admit this story is both sad and great. This is the third time I really like main characters like FL after Penelope and Roxana

yes, I agree with you 100 percent (๑•ㅂ•)و✧, emperor daddy is like a side of coin, we know he's bad, but there's a reason for him being bad, due to neglient he felt during all his time, then comes a warm of light in his wife, but the wifey is died, his vassal never tends to him, how can they be, it's the emperor, they can go with ther head flying if they dare so yeah, FL is having a hard time there
actually their relationship i not that bad in the original novel, FL can still remains in the palace, she never banished, even more murdered, at best what she felt is the lack of love from emperor, and for this ending the FanAuthor (instead of OGAuthor) hate FL since she have to suffer more so OGFL can shines more and more.
