i actually think the harem makes sense when u realize it shows his manipulative nature. he uses his harem to move throughout the world. honestly i js think of all of them (including hyunsung and others) are his harem? because he doesn’t see them really romantically anyways, just as pretty women who like and will help him. its not like he has strong physical powers either, so his girlies really are his shield and weapons.

There is an arc in novel that revolves around love life/crush of Hyungsung and a follow up arc with someone that loves him. I won't spoil the contents unless you want me to, but the second arc was one of my favourite arcs in the novel.
Idk if the manhwa hasn't stated it but Kiyoung does have a skill that makes crazy people fall for him, and dw, not all the female characters fall for him, there are some who end up having just friendship with him.
i like this manhwa but the harem is kinda getting insane like the manhwa itself is funny as fuck but every single time a powerful character that's useful is introduced my mind automatically goes "oh its a beautiful op woman with luscious locks whos madly in love with kiyoung" because that's literally how the story has been going until now
