i actually don't mind tropes if they're done well and they're not too much (like criminal - 3 years in jail assault and abuse). making JK unredeemable is soooo disappointing bc the art is so good. at least in the author's note, she recognized how terrible he is and has plans for a chasing/redemption arc....and divas on twitter love this...so i do wanna see how the second season plays out... but just sadddddd for kim dan he deserves sm better omfg (and lowkey disappointed by the side couple - i don't need to see two shitty ass tops lmfao i want something cute plsss)
