I think also a lot of things heal with time too so it just makes things hard. It’s honestly pretty realistic I feel like I would be the same
Well he can’t display his true emotions, he is in the lion’s den; he has to control how he feels. He has definitely not forgotten but is obviously much more conflicted now that he has formed a relationship type bond with the ML. But we have to remember that the MC is aware that the ML is very observant which means he knows he has to be constantly putting things behind him to keep his close position with the ML.
Love how he always forgets about his main purpose of being a maiden(?) Which is to get revenge but then he suddenly remembers, gets in a bad mood for a day or two, then acts like nothing ever happened. Its annoying but...it shows that feelings change all the time even if you try hard enough to stick with a single mindset and an emotion.
