Unnecessary ??that was a driving point of the plot. they wouldn’t have got together if it wasn’t there . the whole point is how he was punishing himself though violent for hurting the person that he liked.
But even still it was barely resolved in the end
I didn’t like the first one.. the violence felt uncomfortable and unnecessary (and I’ve read some shit) idk
