She gets fresh ingredients for the daily menu. Basically she decides on the menu and the truck supplies her accordingly. Hunter points are basically currency. It is money use solely on the hunter market mundane stuff is still paid for in reg money. Think of it as crypto currency. I agree with how you thought the story would go I thought the same. As for the her fighting with her food truck she might not be able to? As far ad we have seen the safe zone is set up using the cat's power. The protective barrier could also be the cat's power. People using your power without asking is annoying. Granted it has explained fuck all to her so it can't complain when she experiments. I kinda get it when it was exasperated by her trying to hunt. Basically it signed up for a cooking manga but the owner is trying to make it into a shounen manga.
I'll keep reading because the characters are cute but I really wish they went with her buiding up her business and skills
you honestly lack reading comprehension skills. the ingredients aren't exactly random. whatever menu she wants, the ingredients for that menu will appear, and it could be specific as to what she has in mind. also, do note that this manhwa is originally in korean, the language nuances will be different. it's like saying seafood and that could mean including fish but in other languages it's specific to shelled sea animals.
her food truck business and guild contract, SIS BE SO FOR REAL THE STORY JUST STARTED. she also stated in her conditions that she has freedom to do business in the dungeon independently. the floor 5 story is obviously an arc? like have you never read other manhwas or watched any shows before? bitch be fr.
finally, the cat spirit is a contractor. while mc owns the foodtruck, all the magic and sourcing belongs to the cat. her job is exactly that, foodtruck owner. not foodtruck cook or anything. just owner, because she owned that truck. all the items there belonged to her so having it remodeled would be the cat's powers and freedom. if you're so mad about it, have some common sense that the mc can't remodel it herself unless she purchases furniture from the store.
last note: she didn't want to be involved with the dungeon after her parents died. this is a heavily covered matter in the story. her job is exactly food truck owner and not hunter, so stay in your lane. how you gonna be mad at the dungeon and get trauma over it and then now you wanna risk your life after doing exactly what you said you wouldn't? very hypocritical
Didn't have to be this mean but ok ._.
Thank you to everyone (including you) for explaining the thing about the food ingredients. I was reading at 3:00 a.m. so that probably led to my poor reading comprehension skills.
Not sure what your second paragraph was targeting, I was pretty happy about the guild contract plot so I don't know what you're on about.
How about your point about the cat being a contractor, while I understand how you see the situation, that makes me bring forward another point: why doesn't anyone else get their skills through a contractor? It makes the story inconsistent since we don't see any other ability users needing to rely on another being to use their skills. This is so why I felt that it was unnecessary to make the cat seem so dominant over the usage of a skill, which should fundamentally belong to the skill user themselves.
I believe that it will be better if the story had clarified more about the cat's motives, and why it is so aggressive when something doesn't go its way. Like I get being upset when someone (the ml and random guy) used their skill in the magic circle which would disrupt it, but was it necessary for the cat to completely kick them out of the protective zone when there was monsters attacking outside literally seconds ago? Without giving any proper explanation (which was given to the readers by the two guys themselves)? The two guys weren't even disrespecting the cat, they were rather praising the cat for its abilities also felt sorry for using their skills in the protective circle, so I found the spirit's attitude towards them overly aggressive and uncooperative, which prompted me to comment about the spirits attitude. If you feel that it's attitude is justified and completely necessary, do feel free to correct me on your part.
For your last note, I understand that the main character has had negative experiences regarding the death of her parents, but it wasn't in the dungeon. It was when the dungeon wasn't cleared in time, and some dungeon break phenomenon occurred. The main character should be more motivated than not to help contribute to clearing the dungeon. Not necessarily a full-fledged hunter, but at least helping clear some monsters with her huge ass truck, while being also in the safety of her truck. You know like driving over all those tiny monsters like they do in the zombie apocalypse plots with cars.
In fact she does exactly that in the most recent chapter, and she doesn't seem "traumatized" by it. In fact she seemed pretty gusto about it, even before the personality change. It seems that you're assuming that she doesn't want to be a hunter due to a bad experiences when it wasn't necessarily specified to be true in the story.
Of course I might be wrong because I am once again writing this at 2:00 a.m. in the morning, so if I am, I would appreciate if you would reply to me with nicer wording next time.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Edit: thanks for explaining the plot hole bit guys, now I understand the story a little better now
Quite a unique story with pretty decent art, only there seems to be some plot holes I don't understand (spoiler alert)
The original skill of hers said that she will randomly receive ingredients to work with every day, so how can she plan out the dishes she will serve for the next 50 days? She doesn't have a choice in the ingredients right? And although "hunter points" were mentioned, they never mentioned what they are used for, which I think is a shame.
This could have been a story about how the mc earns these points, upgrades her cooking gear/space with her points and resources, and become the elusive food truck owner teleporting randomly to people in need. However what we got is the mc begging the spirit to upgrade/remodel the food truck and the spirit reluctantly agrees to do it for her. Like isn't the food truck owner HER skill? Why is she not the one in charge of upgrading, and is instead portrayed as helpless in front of the spirit?
Speaking of which, I get that the spirit is cute but its attitude is quite annoying. "You are not a hunter, you are a food truck owner" like why is it so controlling over what the mc does? What's wrong with a food truck owner fighting? Can she not fight with her truck? Of course she can, seen in the latest chapters. I get that it has the "best" intentions for the mc, but honestly if something goes wrong, the author should just let it go wrong. It only makes for a more interesting story, at least more interesting than a cat throwing a tantrum.
