I'm almost positive that the mother will somehow try to protect Hikaru in the future. I hope she doesn't try to pin this whole situation on Haruki.
God...everytime I see an update, I have to mentally prepare myself.....it still doesn't help. TAT

Honestly, I want ALL of them to have a happy ending... hopefully it doesn't end tragically because that's how most stories like this end or they continue to suffer, thinking that that's the norm. :(
