how can this have only fourteen chapters??? everything about this was so devastating. hyde being scared that jekyll would start to hate him again, which led to him hiding his issue with his eyesight ultimately leading to his death as “jekyll”. and then jekyll, not knowing his brother was hiding his eyesight from him, had to cope with the loss of his brother. he went three months without knowing hyde was hiding a secret because he was scared to be hated but my poor baby hyde, jekyll loved him so much he can’t stand to live in a world without hyde so we willingly gave up his life and identity as jekyll and continues on as “hyde” PLEASE HAVE MERCY ON ME I JUST WANT BOTH TWINS BACK ND HAPPY. and the ending scene where john sees both twins in an illusion only to have it be “hyde” MY HEART ACHES….jekyll will forever have to live his life as hyde but im glad at least john knows about his true identity. this was such a sad read i cant…..
