I think it’s completely fine to want the artist to feel better and also acknowledge the ending sucked. All of us were so willing for the artist to heal and get better. We waited a year, we were willing to wait longer. Geez, under the green light was on hiatus for like two years and none of us left. I don’t know the author’s condition, but if they were able to write two final chapters, they could’ve spent those chapters more wisely. The reason I’m upset about the ending is bc she could’ve wrapped up baek& the couple so much better. She could’ve flashed forward a year after recovery from the accident where the two are wearing rings and they are hanging around their families and given us closure there, too. The final two chapters deserved better. Our boys deserved a better ending. We as readers deserved a better ending. I’m so sad that this is how one of my favorite yaoi’s ends. I have reread it so many times bc I missed the characters. I just wish we had gotten the ending we deserved, even if it was quickened due to the authors health. I would’ve liked to know the two lived happily ever after. That ending doesn’t feel like closure at all.
