The pacing is a bit rushed and the primary conflict is literally built on a big misunderstanding and zero communication in this but at its core I really enjoy the story and what the author is doing with it! I'm completely invested in these two and am quite intrigued to see where they'll go from here. The smut is also getting better now that Mido is falling in love with Jihan, whether he wants to admit it or not (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I've seen people complain about Jihan giving Mido a chance at all and empathizing with him, but I think it makes sense for his character. He resents Mido for everything that he did, yes, but he's also able to compartmentalize because he wants him to love him and the only way to achieve that is by allowing room for vulnerability between them both, and by doing so, he's able to see Mido as a person and not just some evil rapist guy. There’s also certainly an element of them being fated to each other at play here, too, which is why Jihan wasn't at all attracted to the nice and kind brother despite him also looking and acting like the Mido he remembers. I think maybe if there'd been a little more pacing, it could have landed better, but I do get what the author is going for and enjoy it!!
