Wait really?! I thought I was the only one who thought of that joke ...also it's NOTHING similar to this,the era is definitely similar,but as for the plot- no. Guts and Griffith are characters from the manga berserk,very traumatic thing to read if you have a weak heart (likr me ),the characters are a bit similar like personality wise(before the eclipse) look them up,huge spoiler warning tho,hope this helps!
