The story gets progressively same as any other bl story with Possesive Ex with an extra possesive Male lead but what makes this story different from the others is its showing a different side of entities such as *cough* UNESCO *cough* 's helping nature in war & politics with a supernatural element of how lucky charm works for people. I'm not only unable to move on from the UNHRDO fiasco but also curious to find out about Jaeui the genius weapon developer. If you have patience read atleast season 2 ends if it still doesn't interest you then there's more good food out there. Happy reading
thanks for letting me know. at first, i was really happy when i saw that the main couple didn’t already fuck in the first few chapters as is the case with many other BLs, but in chapter 20 i started to get really bored. i don’t really like the mc, and this whole organization doesn’t make a lot of sense to me and there seem to be too many inconsistencies with it. i was happy that there was some actual plot here but the more i read, the more underdeveloped everything felt. but i’ve read only the first 20 or so chapters so i know a lot of things can still change later. i think will give it a second chance and decide then, because the seme’s possessiveness makes me really interested.
Ngl, I'm in the same boat as you. Dropped it once cuz I found it quite boring, but now I started re-reading it and I'm at chap 71. Tbh, it's still boring. The whole military and brother plot is quite lacking and uninteresting. But I'm still ready because somehow, I'm very curious to see how the mc and ml's relationship will evolve, although it's nothing groundbreaking. I'm skimming through more than reading I would say.
yeah even after 20 something chapters this whole organization and brother thing was really all over the place and lacking. i kinda already got the feeling that all the inconsistencies and things that didn’t make sense wouldn’t be actually resolved or explained later, and judging by your comment i was right. i’m happy that the author decided to actually work on some plot to engage the reader on a deeper level than just by showing two characters fuck, but unfortunately they fell short on the execution of it. idk if it’s just the webtoon problem or it wasn’t much better in the original novel in the first place, either way i don’t think it’s worth any more of my time lol
i’m more than 20 chapters in and this story is just boring. there are some things going on, there is some development between the mc and ml, but god it feels so dragged out and filled with scenes that are just unnecessary and don’t make the plot progress in any significant way. not to mention these “comedy” moments that are just stupid and unfunny, and take away from the tension that has somehow managed to built up. and the mc seems kinda dense. the only interesting aspect of this story is ilay but idk if i should bother with reading the rest of it just to see more of him.
