The reason I like this series is because to me Jaewon is nothing like the usual assholes that just shove it in and keep pressing for more regardless of how the uke is feeling. Jaewon is always straight up about what he wants, wants his sexual partners to feel good, and stops when they are hurting or stops having sex with them when they are injured and feels badly. Nothing about that is the typical seme who just shoves it in despite the Uke saying no and to stop. Eunho has some responsibility in the situation because of his codependency patterns. He was not being honest with Jaewon about his limits and that he was hurting because he just wanted to please Jaewon. This is a very unhealthy way to behave in relationships. Is Jaewon an asshole? Ya, but I am quite enjoying this series for its more nuanced portrayal of relationships.

You can read it as Jaewon being an 100% asshole and Eunho being the 100% victim but there is also a more nuanced perspective here that the author is serving and I am here for it. I still like the typical dynamics like Jinx but I like this too.
ml might be a bit irritating and manipulative sometimes, but he always takes care of mc, ensuring that mc doesn't get hurt, getting his consent before doing anything, and making sure to set the boundaries of their relationship. also, they both are two consenting adults choosing to be sex partners—in that kind of relationship, I think ml is decent and at least does the bare minimum, which so many other tops couldn't.
