He's the only one who's screwing himself over at this point. He's letting his brother do whatever he wants with him even though he hates it and is the source of all his frustration. So... technically he's getting what's coming to him.

Idk why people think that. This takes place in the past. Seven years into the future they aren't together, the younger brother says the older broke his heart, and the older brother is still terrified of the younger. They are clearly not together. So unless in like, the last two pages of the manga, the older brother miraculously changes his mind, there is no way in hell they will end up together.
