Mm, possibly, but by the end the guide was clearly attached foe more reasons that just compatibility. If the MC had a bad, abrasive personality, then I don't think the guide would have been so receptive. Instead, they seem to have personalities that have enabled a happy and loving partnership. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I didn’t really like how, even after the friends hyped the guide up, it really DID just boil down to the MC having the most compatible blood and being able to have sex with the guid without losing his mind. It didn’t have to be MC, there’s nothing about MC as a person the guide values, just the sex and blood. Could have been anyone in MC’s place and story wouldn’t change much.
