People are confused?

Alright so I was rereading it and saw the comments seeing that people may be confused. Saying things like she’s a grown woman acting like a kid.

Here’s the clarification:

I reread from the beginning and I never saw anything that implied her to be an adult in her past life. At most it showed a single glimpse of her old self at home playing a video game. Nothing showing her age. Also this isn’t a transmigration story. Transmigration is basically like a soul moving to another body, usually in a different world. This is a reincarnation story. So the FL was reborn. People assume that this is like every other story where the modern soul replaces the character soul. That was never the case.

She lived her life normally and one day gained memories of her past life. Unlike other stories where that happened, those memories never merged or replaced her personality. So even when she gained those memories, the personality and mindset of the modern world version never became who she is now. She never considered herself to be the modern version. She treated those memories as if they were a strangers and only used the info from the game. Notice the fact that she rarely, if not ever, speaks about any other memories outside of the plot of the game. Everything she mentions usually deals with the game terms. Notice how attached she is to her family at a young age. Had she really thought of herself as the modern older version, she would not have been as emotional over her family if she thought of them as characters. She has always been very attached to the people in the current world and never mentioned anyone in the modern world memories. Making it more reasonable to believe that she truly believes herself to be part of this world alone.

She has always been the same age. She went from being a child to a teenager. Her gaining some memories didn’t change her age. People seem to get that confused with transmigration. Where that usually happens to ADD the mental age together or replace it. She naturally has a childish personality. Whereas the rest of the people around her are specifically more mature due to their environments and upbringing. Shawn also is childish as well and he’s not that much younger than them. Some evidence that her mental age is exactly as her physical age: look at chapter 3. In one scene she talks about how she was made to sit on an old man’s lap and thought nothing of it. Which clearly emphasizes that she didn’t know any better and that she truly does have the mind of a child. If she actually had her modern mind, she would’ve known better about the intentions of the old man.

Another example to help understand the mindset she has:

If you have ever watched/read any anime/manga where the mc lives in the modern world and suddenly is approached by supernatural being saying, “I’ve been looking for you all over!” Basically looking for the reincarnation of the person they loved. The MC usually finds it ridiculous and considers themself as an entirely different person than the version that those people were talking about. Even as they gain some mercies of their past life, they would still consider themself as separate and live with the same ideals and morals as they have always followed in the current world.

This is how it is for the FL here. She gained information at most. But still believes that her past self is someone else entirely.
