As someone who hasn't read the novel imo this chapter is lacking im sorry guys it should be the arc's climax but yjh's face isn't desperate enough, dokja's face isn't "peaceful/accepting" enough, and as someone who had waited the stabbing scene for 3 weeks it feels.....lackluster? The last 2 chapters are sadder and more moving than this one.
I think the 1st time dokja died in front of yjh (at the hand of future yoosung) feels more impactful than this which is supposed to be him actually dying. The build up for the last 3 chapters are good, idk why chapter 220 doen't feel impactful enough
Yeah I agree the novel made me sob my eyes out but maybe it’s not as impactful because we read what has happened and visualized it in the most painful way possible. It just doesn’t pack the same punch as the first time
