Not sure which aspect you mean but essentially there's been a heap of copycat serial killers.
They found out the cause is priest dude whose edeya let's him brainwash people and turn them into murderers with powers based on famous serial killers.
They were targeting ML and distracted vampire lady with a huge attack at the airport then they led ML into a trap. He managed to kill most of the attackers, but priest dude escaped because the brainwashed murderers he created bought him time.
After the attack ML realised that the translator dude was actually brainwashed the whole time and vampire lady left him with the other Korean kids at the airport.
We saw in this chapter that his power as a serial killer knockoff involves being able to hide his identity from those younger than him, that's why ML couldn't see through the disguise even with his edeya.
Priest dude and translator/clown serial killer guys are at a massive prison trying to make all the inmates their lackeys, and have lured ML there using the other Korean kids and by letting him realise the translator/clown killer was a spy.
Vampire lady can't help because there's a situation in china that could be world ending and she needs to go help with that.
