My lover as in Dokja referring to 'Ways of Survival' as his lover because he considers this story as everything, a friend, a parent, a lover..

I think he was referring the "friend, parent, lover" to the story he grew up with. But as I remember there was no lover part in the novel, idk I can only remember "parent as a child, sibling as a teen, and old friend as an adult" T_T
What was with "my lover" part?? Is HSY × KDJ confirmed by officials??
Also tbh I expected a lot more for this scene, why did they change YJH's dialogue... his expression wasn't even as desperate as the novel described. Heck, even KDJ's expressions were off. I'm quite disappointed... just bc the don't want to feed the BL fans they shouldn't take away from the story. I was looking forward to it so much but then this... ugh
