Well… since the latest page is the reveal there still isn’t an explanation as to why it was necessary.
But if I had to guess it would be this: I’m guessing Luca made a wish to the goblet and was returned to the past. Consequently Judith also returned and she kept her past memories in the form of believing it was a novel. It would tie up why and how the magic was possible in the first place in comparison to having both a transmigrated and a returnee present.
In the perspective of a writer, I’m sure this was added to give another layer of complexity/ twist to the plot
I'm not asking why that choice was made, I was wondering why it's >confirmed< that Judith now is actually the og bully-aunt Judith as well. I wonder if there were hints of that or not.
I have like 10+ shoujo manhwa swimming around in my tiny skull and can't recall. Istg there were instances where Judith feels very responsible or has strong emotions in specific situations where only the og Judith would know, but I'm pretty sure I've read that somewhere else too.
But anyway thanks for trying to explain anyway and your theory sounds very reasonable. Add an extra seasoning of: different planes/dimensions have different time flows so after auntie died early, she entered her korean 2nd life where she was able to live 90-ish years while with Luca only like 15 or so years passed - until he hit the reset button with the goblet.

OHHH LMFAO MY BAD But you’re right that there were instances where she had strong emotions (the only ones I can recall was about her older sister. When she found was reading the records of Luca’s dad’s whereabouts, she mentioned something about her older sister’s death and she felt really sad but couldn’t explain why).
In the later chapters she’d get memories that she doesn’t remember reading about.
But no I completely get it, I keep reading manhwas back to back and everything gets muddled T~T

Catch me up, I havent read this in a while - From what I understand korean Judith died peacefully from old age, but why does this confirm that she was og Judith all along? She still could've just read the novel, lived her life and yeeted into Judith's body.
