If they make a second season of the anime, I hope they don't omit any of that.
It's one of the charms of this manga.
That said, I don't know if this was something developed by the mangaka or the author. The web novel/light novel aren't translated to English yet.
I don't think that I've ever seen an shonen with so much homoeroticism. To be fair, they do sometimes include women/women baity shit for the mostly male readers but this one just goes ham and most of the homoerotic stuff is male on male action. Kudos, I guess (?)
