I don't believe so. Because most 'villianess' that gets regressed always have a character development for the better. She just mad that her sister got a handsome man, and didn't like that she had to live the consequences of her actions

for starters, we don't know if the villainess will have character development since it's still early in the story
secondly the reason most readers on villainess stories (at the ones i've read) like the villainess is bc she's evil/morally grey not bc of character development

Honestly... I dont like this one... and even now... I confess... If the sister wasn't so stupid and having a shit reason to hate mc... I'd be cheering for her... mc is the og white lotus, not the white lotus bish, the true initial meanin of the pure, nice, perfect female lead that everyone knows... and it's boring af...
I don't need a reversal of roles... if the sister wasn't so villain mob stupid and sent mc to the academy like she wants instead of persecuting her because she can't admit she made a bad choice... that'd be enough for me to like her more than mc.

White lotus in itself isn't an insult, but kind of a mainstream in Chinese novel to describe a bland sweet girl, green tea is two faced so is black lotus (same meaning)

The only difference is green tea is a pure bubbly vivacious persona and the white lotus bish is a pure innocent weak and naive persona... both og them calculated... green tea is also used more for two faced and white lotus to pretending to be weak...
