After reading a few more chapters this really just rubbed me the wrong way and can no longer continue the story oh well
If you're willing to give it another try Micchan does draw a firm line later that he is too old to even consider Natsume like that. It's definitely a poor taste and dated joke but imo he redeems himself
As weird as it is (and against common morality), it is not illegal. Japan just recently changed the age of consent to 16 (from 13...)
Something I find weird about these 2010 mangas is that they also find a way around saying “pedophile”. Instead of what Micchan said ( “It’s not my thing” or along the lines of that ) why didn’t he say that that was illegal and shut it down right then and there? These types of situations in mangas try to paint pedophilia out to be an actual sexual attraction that’s valid and tries to view everyone differently when really it’s just weird and disgusting. I really wish mangas would stop doing this.
