I think it’s a little different this time considering the ukes character, he has lived his life up until now desperately trying to find middo, from a homeless runaway orphan to a life of crime, accepting all the hardships he’s experienced as some sort of punishment he “deserves” I just think this guys so broken he considers this just another thing he has to accept, I think it’s really sad and I wish it wasn’t like this for him but yeah poor bastard
WHY did they have to pair the seme realizing “maybe I did bad? maybe? Just a little (I’ll still rape, but be nice about it now)” with the uke being like no, I actually want this and will most likely forgive you for literal beatings, rape, humiliation, forced drug use, and confinement VERY soon bc the author said I caught feelings somehow (it makes no logical sense for this character to have done this). SO GROSS. Why do authors ALWAYS absolve the most abusive, toxic, rapist, trash by having the uke be like “I guess I like it now” which means everything from before can just be brushed off and they’ll be happy like it never happened. They ALWAYS do this. It’s so tiring. If the author didn’t intend for the ML to be evil to the core MAYBE they shouldn’t have included violent, brutal rape? You can make toxic MLS without it I PROMISE.
