No the author never make excuses that why MC ran away for 3 day to sort his feelings and thoughts. Plus, ML never lie just deceived people. He only hides things temporarily until MC or anybody that involved realise. ML don't remorse what he has done except about his ex boyfriend.
People hate him to treat his ex like he doesn't care. But in first place he has never approached others to date rather they that come to him. While he in relationship he has never cheated, abuse and controlling in the relationship. Whatever his ex wanted he gives except the last one. He don't want to be a cheater. So he broke up from his side for the first time. ( Before all from his ex.)
In this story it shows that lies and manipulation hurts. But it also shows that grab your chances when you can cause you will miss it. It also shows that everyone has darkside, and in relationship knowing whether you can accept your partner darkside is important.
The title should have been "Manipulation Tactics 101 for your relationship" instead of "Link to your relationship"
At some point when the POV is mostly on the ML, instead of a romance story, reading this felt like I was reading a book on ways to manipulate someone.
The top is calculative deceiving ass who didn't even feel bad when he used everybody...I mean whatever i dont care (i like them crazy sometimes), but the author weirdly tryna make excuses ALL THE TIME to make that seem okay is just plain crazyyy
