I’ve noticed this a lot but Asian works focus on their mindset of filial piety and I actually commented about it once under a transmigration work I was reading since a lot of different Asian people from different type of house holds were read and they all answered pretty much the same
“They are our parents it’s just showing respect” “even if they treat us bad it’s consider being ungrateful if we disrespect them” etc things along that mindset couldn’t be me but hey

So I just started reading this and so far it looks like it has some potential but there’s something that bugs me not just in this work but in a lot a lot of the parents of the mc treat their children like trash and I just don’t get why they just accept it if it would’ve been me I would just destroy them ngl ppl like they aren’t parents they r demons I’m just so sick of seeing kids getting treated like trash bc of their parents dreams anyway I was just so frustrated so yk
