There are 2 sisters, one is smart and the other is pretty
The smart one went to this academy and have this whole rivalry with a guy(son of a duke) after few years they met again and slept together(i forgot about the details)
When she go home, she found her pretty sister in a mess, she saw the guy who she has been dating got murdered in front of her. Turns out that he was the crown prince(the son of duke's cousin) so her life is in danger of course.
Then they fled to another city, few months later they found out that the pretty sister is pregnant with the crown prince's kid, but she died after giving birth.
The smart sister went back to the capital, and met the duke. He thought that it was his son because they look alike.
Long story short, they got married and they are protecting this kid from the empress and the prince because they are evil.
What i like is that this story is relly really well made. And the details about how people at that time lives is meticulously written
