I need help

Trying to find an old manga (2000-2012's) It is a shojo manga. The girl meets a guy and likes him but he has a girlfriend. He has a dog and strolls with him. She is high school and eventually they end up together. The dog is medium or big size dog like a shiba inu.. HELP!! i WOULD BE FOREVER GRATEFUL.

Probably not it and the plot is hazy but could it be Principal? I remember a dog but not sure if the owner was taken (there are two main guys in the series).

Thank you a lot for helping me! After an extensive research, the manga was Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi. It was an old manga so I forgot some details.
The dog was a dachshund and the girl was the shiba inu’s owner.
