I don't understand

The villain lusted over Yeon, knew she was the empress, still used his spy to kill her to weaken the emperor so that he could take the throne? Was he planning to bring her back from the underworld after ascending to the throne? After losing husband and child to the guy, how can she love him?

Dud he even know that general Yeon and empress are the same person?

Is his brain made of tofu or he believed that his plan would work?

I don't know why but there was a recurring theme of Villains stealing rap*ng other people's wives. Not surprised the main villain tried to pull of something like that. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

This book is filled with raping other's wives. I mean, it is true at some point but it's too much in this book.
