A lot... honestly you should just read the novel sequel its better and shows how great of persons these two have become
I still have a hard time digesting that these two will still become a couple after all that abuse. Let along read about how they both grew together.
The novel still has a lot to go lol the author has pretty good storytelling but this one is just one of the common trope ofc the ml wont be let out like this
