When someone pretends not to know you, you’re supposed to get the hint and move on lol. She went as far as moving to the house right next to him because she doesn’t listen. Plus she can tell that there’s a reason why he’s keeping her at arms lenght but she won’t stand for it. And it’s not like he can say “I’m a gangster now and I need to understand why we’re having a problem with one of our sources of revenue which also happens to be one of the construction sites you supervise”
I totally see what you meant, and honestly, I also think MC is trying to dig into their past relationship way too much when it's been years since they saw each other, and it's a bit annoying. What I'm trying to say is that even with her being pushy and him keeping his reasons (being a gangster and all that) to himself, he could also just say "I really don't want to rekindle our relationship so just stop". I don't think MC would be too stupid to pry further with that straightforward reason. Hope u get what I mean ╥﹏╥

We know he didn't say shxt because she's thinking about how he disappeared and she waited for him. She never heard the news that he had to leave because his uncle showed up. She kept looking for him and questioning the people in town.
Chapter 30, last episode before time skip, he told white boy to tell FL he's sorry that's he's leaving, to her he just left and ditched her to wait forever not knowing what happened; I mean they like just started dating too so I feel like anyone would still be hung up on it, especially if he looked like that
the fact that they started dating just now hit me.
Not that I'm shitting on the ml but honestly, our MC here is going out of her way to reunite with him despite being the one getting abandoned (again, I'm not saying it's purely the ml's fault) and he's doing the bare minimum... If he doesn't want her associating with him to protect her, then he should just be straightforward instead of making it harder for our MC to understand.
