why are ppl arguing about morality over a gag manhwa? certainly the story started with the ML abusing the MC, but ML was being poisoned by the prime minister, he ate all the poison after the incident where MC cried and revealed his mom was being held hostage. they both learnt that they're both trapped and stopped resenting each other.
after the time skip, MC was so lonely and trapped in the palace with noone but the servants keeping him company. he wanted to teach commoners children bc he couldn't teach his own. he did cheat on the ML, but keep in mind he was the empress, its not like regular couples where if u're unhappy u can just ask to break up. after the cheating he refused ML's desire for more kids and even asked to be deposed. again, this isn't like a regular couple getting divorced, after being deposed an empress can't ever remarry or have another lover. MC chose this despite still loving the ML bc he believed ML doesn't love him. all this doesn't justify cheating or domestic abuse or whatever, but this is a gag manhwa and fiction. it's not real life, so its fine to be sympathetic towards a character which has done wrong, cry when the story is sad and laugh when the story is funny.

Hon don’t even bother, some readers should not be reading stuff like this if they argue about morality in these kinds of stories when morality in fiction don’t apply in real life smh that’s why fiction was created in the first place (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 amateur readers
