i think the biggest issue i have with the male lead is the fact that hes not truly 'obsessed' with the fml. if he was, he wouldve ended the bitch the moment she bullied the fml. hes a insult to all yanderes. 'pathetic insecure bastard w audacity' suits him more.
whats worse is that he constantly makes excuses for himself and for the feelings he has .. like wym you couldnt bring urself to hate the villain because you used her? even though she was a disgustingly horrible person to the fml?? and you knew ?? its obvious that the author was trying to make him a complex character but it just made him look even more vain
dont even get me STARTED on his abnormal jealousy regarding fml cousin. COUSIN. wt right does he have to be jealous when he STILL has a soft spot for the woman that he faked being in love w and tortured the fml w.
i also hate that theres barely any redemption. i hate the character development for the fml if she was gonna leave him she shouldve lasted more than one conversation bruh. the miscommunication trope BARELY makes sense and i hate how they made it seem like it was fml fault because she 'acts on her own' and 'puts herself in danger'.. you literally allowed her to be assassinated for your scheme?. its just nonsensical. all in all its a shitty story read it if u like reading stories based on art
