I mean ngl I think he’d know her too well to try and lie and say it’s hers. He probably thinks she’s too “dull” or “plain” to wear lipstick, so I doubt he’d say that. I feel like she’d either just ignore it or ask about it which ends up in him getting defensive and fussy.
My theory is she brings up the lipstick stain and he's like "fuck it's probably urs" and she's like "I don't wear lipstick we can't afford it" and he's like "why are u making a big deal about it u probably did and just forgot"
