I'm not stupid or a baby just because I find this dull. Bad writing is bad writing. Think yourself above everyone for enjoying it, that's your perogative but others also have the right to think this is dragging.
I get what's going on and it's still boring. Why should I care where the wikileaks are or who was involved from the start when I don't like the main characters? Maybe a re-read altogether would make me feel more invested in the characters but it's going so slowly I've stopped caring. What are the stakes even? Will people die? Lose business? Why should I care? They're boring me. Call me slow minded if you like, I will continue to read it wondering wtfing point is, and you will continue to love it. The world keeps turning.

I dont usually like when characters seem expressionless but I think, in this case, it suits the uke since it matches his characteristics
