this feels a little too draggy. we're 60+ chapters in and we, as readers, aren't really learning anything new. we know that the ml is cray cray and it just feels like we're going nowhere with the plot (especially with how things are going in the raws). it feels like we're getting somewhere but nowhere at the same time. as they say when it comes to slow burn, there is a fine line between sweet pining and frustrating stagnation.
stories with yandere mls usually keep me engaged like "the beast must die" or even "checkmate" (and before anyone says maybe it's because of the lack of smut, i did not read the mature version of checkmate). the ml is as predictable as you can get with a yandere and the mc is well also your typical poor mc. the characters feel flat and imo.
