I really liked the omega for the mc. I'm really want them to be together, but after he did the drugging incident, the manipulation, i just want the mc to end up with someone else. Not the omega and definitely not the alpha. Single life is stress-free life.

Leaving both parties is a resolution that isn't often explored that more authors should consider

For sure even if they want to go in that path they're hesitant because a lot of readers love “romance" even if the said romance is questionable. Why would you like to end up with the person who hurt and betrayed you? They can always do it again. All the red flags changing in the end for good is so unrealistic.

In your words, "All the red flags changing in the end for good is so unrealistic.", the very definition of fiction perhaps? And a reminder for us to know how to separate real life from fiction.

Oh, but there are some ppl who romanticize those “red flags” in rl, actually there's a lot of them. They are disregarding that it is “a reminder for us to know how to seperate real life from fiction.”

Don’t ever argue with someone who stands behind the “it’s fiction!” argument. They’re the type to justify anything and everything, even sh0ta and l0li, just because it’s fiction. They’re gross
