It's an easy way to show the character is stupid, dramatic, or wants to be seen. At least that's how I interpret it

When u scream when u're abt to attack someone or pull something heavy it gives u more power, or u just scream instinctly..atleast that's the case for me

Idk he probably screamed bc he was afraid that he was gonna kill some1? Probably not, considering the fact that he's a thug but he WAS abt to stab monster's bf yk? Also I think screaming kind of gives u courage to do smth (which is kind of powering up)
I think I even more don't get it here bc like he was very intentional in his sneaking up to them lolol if it had just a full moment of sudden passion, I guess lmao but this was planned and sneaky
I never get the trope of yelling as you're about to stab/attack someone lolol
