bro JJBA is genuinely life changing. It's one of those things where if u get into it you cant go back i got into it in 2015 and i still fw jojos. Its also got some of the best intros and outros... Watch part 1: phantom blood, part 2: battle tendency, part 3: stardust crusaders, part 4: diamond is unbreakable, part 5: Vento Aureo, part6: stone ocean. Theres also a spin off series "thus spoke rohan kishibe" watch that after part 4.

There are two anime that I watched one episode and said "eh" and that's haikyuu and jjba. And then years later I revisit them and they become my greatest loves. I am OBSESSED WITH JJBA (and haikyuu lol), IT'S SO GOOD. The first episode is really a hurdle to get over, but everything after that is so worth it.
Some people say part 1 is the worst part, but I disagree. It's just the part that sets up the rest of the show. Like yea, maybe part 3 and part 5 are the best animated parts, but part 1 laid the groundwork.
But if you want like, actual reasons to watch jjba I got some.
1)awesome fight scenes
2)legit edge of your seat drama, because anyone could die at any time (or come back!)
3)buff boys in crop tops and clothes with boob windows
4)THE THEMES!! I'm not just talking the OP/ED, but every jojo and their jobros have a sick theme song (seriously, add il vento d'oro to your playlist)
5)lots of fun western music references
6)the humour can be a little silly, but it's really fun
7)just love enemies becoming friends to fight a common enemy

2)plenty of fanfic
3)so MANY shippable characters (don't come for my ass, non shippers)

Yea, no, I definitely get what you mean. I watched the first episode three times over the span of a few years just to try and get over it and into the rest of the show. By the time you're on part 3, you'll fondly reminisce about part 1
