They both suffered insanely for 17 years. The ML just forgot the memories of the MC from being drugged. But he went every month for the past 17 years to the grave of his dead mate that he couldn't remember besides him getting killed in front of him because he was protecting him. Like being in the ML shoes, I would also hate himself and the world.
no side stories? this was fucked up, the chasing arc was too short (i want the ml to suffer more lolz) but at least they got a happy ending
