Yup. Made it waaay too obvious early on. To the point I was hoping he’s a distraction from the actual culprit because otherwise it’d be too disappointing. And disappointing it was.
His motivation is so bad too.
“I want revenge on my family, but I won’t team up with my cousin who was also mistreated by the family cause I want to put Herod on the throne for … reasons?”
And then he gets defeated cause he couldn’t bother to check if Jaynen actually stabbed Rayne or not.
I think the author got bored of this story and is trying to wrap it but and be done with it lol.
