amazing but did I miss a few chapters or what?

I binged read this and it was great, plotline, art, action, and comedy wise (just wished the censorship wouldn't have been so rude but alas it was great). but why do I feel like I missed the plot somewhere towards the end???? like what happened to the whole plot with Todd and his creepy blood puppet? I feel like since he is the real mastermind behind yanko and his weird blood matrix spell thingy, there would've been more to it? especially after the whole enos shrinking and him saying smth about finding the perfect heart for his puppet lover? servant? and then said creepy puppet servant conspiring to attack? kill? con? enos and Hastings? like did I miss something???? I'm so confused

ps.it may have been the translations, but some of the genders of the characters confused me too one moment they refer to a character by she and the next one he and that's unimportant but I was just confused
