I don't get the sentiment on these comments. if Gyun is loveless then a lot of other seme of the same "the dominant in a power balance" type are downright robot

It's been establised from day one that they are both pining. His attitude to hyun doo have always been an exception to what he does, which is puzzling to even him. It's been established that Gyun have conviced himself he is not someone that can offer love because raised as such in such environment. Everytime hyun doo actively choose him and comunicate his desire he fell deeper. Every step of the way he learned to accomodate that and discover that he actually capable of love. Not without hitches, his learning process hurts others and himself.

It's also been established that from day 1 that hyun doo craves to be vulnerable and warmth, people'sattention is pleasing to him. He doesn't mind with transactional sex as long as it allow him to survive, with clear consent bar. He has more flavor than a good portion of "I'm not actually a bottom" and prostitution tropes. He know what he wants and communicate it, it doesn't always work but he is a fighter.

To me this couple is giving warm love through the "rough inhumane sex" trope. It's like that couple from harada's work that work they way out on one of the pair's non con fantasies. The situation enables them to be as toxic as this but despite that they have mindblowing consensual sexs and healthy communication from quite early on. The way they interact and motivation is very appealing imo, raw and realistic not in unnecessary brutal way. Small reflection on how hyun doo felt lonely and tired of struggle, gyun's possesive comments that clearly read as missidentified love and desire to be loved. Are some of the highlights on how good the writing are
