that’s what i’m saying too if bato had similar features i would totally use it, but even when i made an account to read real versions there were ads (i read on mobile) and the bookmarking system is a bit odd? maybe im not used to it.
also they have a bigger selection on bato which is nice it’s just the ads not disappearing even when u she’s an account that annoys me bcus i don’t want to get an blocker (sounds like a lazy problem, it is, but if mangago doesn’t have ads might as well use it?)
point is i would test out bato it might work for you? a lot of translators originate there, very few actually post on mangago
Yeah I’m kinda just lazy I really like how I get notified of something updating here, can go through my reading history in case I forget to subscribe, have a reading list, look up tags, and just all these convenient functions.
And I also hate how I have to constantly make it so the chapter shows all the pages? Idk about others but it doesn’t do it automatically even if I select it once
Okay, seeing the explanation for the dummy chapters, I do get it a bit more now. I do still think it’s a bit hypocritical to be stealing from the actual artist by putting their work out there for free (we don’t know how well these comics are paid. Might not be all that much) and then complaining about someone else kinda doing the same thing, but I get being annoyed that this site essentially makes money off of nothing.
That being said, I use an ad blocker so idk if I’m necessarily contributing to their revenue ╮(￣▽￣)╭
ANYWAY, I wouldn’t mind using Bato, since that’s usually where I go if something isn’t here, but I have only used it on a case to case basis. Does it have similar functions that mangago has? I like being able to see my library as well as get updates on new chapters.
