pell and essie are so adorable together, and i really like their dynamic with each other! i love how their relationship progressed from annoyance to friendship to something more, it doesn't feel rushed. <3
and it's quite interesting how the three princes' cause of death is just one person (theoretically) with different names, with vanne and esseland it's [rael] while for pel... it's essie's name... is it because that's how they view her? i just feel kinda sad... since they're all brothers but two of them seem a little crazy, so much so that pel and essie somehow are always in danger because of what they're scheming...
