I get that Brett initially used a "mutually beneficial transaction" in the beginning to get closer to Hayden since that's probably what he felt would be the best/fastest way to get what he wanted, but I wish he didnt continue to keep using that now that him and Hayden have established somewhat of a "relationship". Brett obviously likes being with Hayden and I believe he did what he could to get him to hang out with him, no matter how lame it sounded. Unfortunately, Hayden catching feelings first and Brett being the way that he is makes Hayden feel manipulated, that's why he insisted in the end panel that him being there was his choice.
