i can understand why you think he should be punished but hes 4 its natural for kids not wanting their parents to go with them
all that needs to happen is discipline, because toma could run away again if daiki didnt have that talk with him
yeah tantrums are normal for little kids but mj is just spoiling him to act like that instead of teaching him not to
A 4 year old child is capable of understanding. So if you let him act this way or give in to his tantrums he will definitely understand that’s the way to get what I want. And if there aren’t consequences for running away because of a tantrum he WILL repeat this act. Do you think the world is kind to a 4 year old roaming about on his own? It’s because he’s so young that he needs to learn. Once he’s old enough these actions will have become habits.

Sorry but no. Toma needs to know he can’t always have want he wants. He especially needs to know throwing tantrums doesn’t get you want you want and more than that he needs to know there are consequences to his actions. He is 4 and he ran away from home because he was throwing a tantrum. He SHOULDNT be allowed to go and he SHOULD be punished in some way because of what he did.
