first couple chapters i thought this was a stereotypical, power fantasy, narcissistic male mc with badly written female characters. 22 chapters in and it's still that but it's self-aware AND it at least makes fun of itself (like wtf is up with the soldier background character who's just making tents lol). and the women aren't badly written nor centered around mc, if anything, mc is just everyone's glorified babysitter
