Maybe old habits die hard??
I guess so but idk for me it was still pretty frustrating
he was never loved or even in a good space as a child and probably never learned to speak up for himself and when he did most likely got reprimanded (hit)

As much as I love the art, smut scenes and the seme, the uke’s character is just so frustrating to read. He’s a grown ass man in his 30s yet he can’t communicate and just self loathes in despair instead of speaking up like an adult. Overall it was still an enjoyable read since like I said I loved the art and the seme but me personally forced miscommunication tropes irks me. Especially if they can easily be fixed but the character chooses not to for whatever reason
