In one of the chapters it says that both Kyle and MC are from the same hometown that was destroyed. Not sure if they were childhood friends tho.
It's actually interesting. The Hero's party is not as bad as what was shown in this manhwa. Which proves that there's always another side of a story. Once we get to find out their perspective(eventhough it doesn't justify what they have done) we get to understand how they reacted that way. The cracks on the party continued to spread through out those 5 years. I actually like how the flaws of the mc were addressed. He's not this all so good, self righteous kind of character. Like he said, all wizards have a screw lo(o?)se. There will be a lot of sacrifices so I guess get your tissues ready.
